First time here and from start to go finish the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming.
We received a small welcoming drink & chicken Bon Bon, tiny but delicious. I ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri and it was delicious. Chicken croquets to start, chicken curry then white chocolate cheesecake, not sure where I found the space for it but it was out of this world.

Such an impressive wee place. Really nice atmosphere, great food and great cocktails. There was a good vegan menu, unfortunately I was too stuffed to try dessert. Staff were really nice and the price was OK too.

Absolutely brilliant. Had lunch with my parents for a birthday treat. Delicious traditional food, generous portions and lovely kind staff. We will be back!

A lovely restaurant. Pleasant staff, delicious meals with many gluten free options. Wonderful spice profiles in the curries. Authentic Nepalese food. Complimentary butterfly pea tea drink and amuse bouche are a lovely touch. We'll definitely dine here again.

I had the lunch menu with my family which was great value for money. Really tasty food and nicely presented. Will definitely be back again to sample more of the menu. The mushroom on brioche toast was delicious as was the Chicken Khatmamdu. Everyone enjoyed their meals, couldn't fault it.

We had dinner at Da Buddha tonight, and the entire experience was outstanding. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink that was both sweet and bitter—absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly attentive, taking our drink order quickly and then bringing out some complimentary nibbles. The food was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The staff also demonstrated great knowledge of the dishes and were very accommodating with my allergy requirements. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Nice food, friendly staff, limited menu. 2 courses for £26 very expensive. Nachos and haloumi burger! Was disappointed with lack of nepalise choices on the set menu. Portion size OK so long as you had a starter. Nice wee touch, a nibble and small drink on arrival.

A beautiful restaurant in Johnstone with excellent food and drinks, and friendly and attentive staff. We came in to treat my Father-in-Law to a birthday dinner on Saturday night, and had a lovely time. The service was quick, effecient and friendly, and the food tasted delicious and had excellent presentation. My wife and I have also been in just the two of us on Sundays for the Thali. Whether it's the Sunday Thali plates or just dinner, the food and drinks are brilliant. 5 stars every time. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a fantastic evening. My granddaughter Emma and Callum were taken aback at the atmosphere and service we received as soon as we arrived. We had said we would try the authentic dishes. They were out of the world.

My family and I had our Christmas Day dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic. Each course was honestly delicious, the cocktails were very good and the staff as always are amazing. First time visit at Debuddha for family birthday meal. Travelled for 40 mins because we heard great things. We weren’t disappointed Rabi the manager and his team were brilliant and we had a great night.

We had a great lunch here. I had a very hearty chicken noodle soup and chicken Kathmandu curry, which had a reasonable kick to it despite being one of the milder options. My wife had a seaweed salad and chilli chicken noodles. Generous portions for a lunchtime menu and the staff were attentive and friendly without ever being invasive like some other places. Lunch prices were very reasonable. The only improvement I would suggest would be fresh-made naans rather than pre-prepared ones.

Unfortunately, was so full couldn’t manage to sample the homemade white chocolate & bailies cheesecake but it looked amazing, will forego the starter & have it next time. Popped in for lunch, spicy garlic wings, decent portion, tasty appetiser, then Himalayan Lamb, rice, poppadoms, chips (as a Gluten free substitute for naan), loads of food for lunch. Very attentive and helpful staff, £35 for two, no alcoholic drinks.

We are speechless! This was a last minute plan for us and we chose the perfect place! The food was excellent! Extremely authentic dishes! Every item that we had ordered - we went as a group and got variety of different dishes to share, and they were all cooked to perfection. The service was faultless too. The waiters were so attentive and accommodating. Also a mention to the in house mixologist- amazing cocktails we had! The ambiance was perfect. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the decor was breathtaking. Overall, this was an incredible dining experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. The 5 of us will definitely be back!

A friend visited in March on my recommendation (I sent her to test it out on my behalf). She raved about it. I now know why.
Stunning decor. No expense spared. This is a very classy restaurant indeed.

The food itself was a delight and incredible value.
A three course lunch served from 12-4pm for only £16.95.
As we sat down, we were served a glass of complimentary home made lemonade which was beautifully refreshing.
I started with a traditional Nepalese street food called Sha Phaley, which is minced chicken in pastry. My wife elected to tried the traditional non-Nepalese Halloumi Fries. Both plates cleared.
For main course, we both went for the delicious Himalayan Lamb which was served with rice, naan and poppadom. It was amazing.
I washed my meal down with a traditional Nepalese lassi. So authentic and tasty.
My dessert was a refreshing trio of sorbet... Mango, lemon and passion fruit. Oh yum.
My wife loved her white chocolate and Bailey's cheesecake with ice cream (she asked for the ice cream instead of the advertised mango sorbet and in keeping with the class of the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble).
After the meal I had a long chat with owner Rabi, who along with his team were just so welcoming.
I definitely would recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning sometime soon.

A hidden gem on Collier Street in Johnstone. Outstanding Nepalese cuisine served in a stunning restaurant by brilliant staff. Burgers and fish and chips are also on the menu. I chose the authentic dishes, all of which were delicious. Highly recommended.
